WHY HE IS IMPRESSIVE: As this video indicates, White is both poised and confident.
He is one of the best recruiters in the G5 basketball world and recently attained  Folk Hero status among the Bulldog faithful by reportedly turning down coaching jobs in higher profile conferences.
POTENTIAL: Mike White is a young, dynamic,  smart coach. La Tech made an excellent hire in White. White seems destined to be one of the marquee coach's in College Basketball for years if not decades ahead . Look for La Tech to do everything they can to keep him. The contract extension that he received in early April for a reported 3.6 million is a good start.
